Isolated torsion of fallopian tube, meanwhile uncommon, should be considered in diagnosis of pelvic and lower abdominal pain. US investigation is an useful diagnostic tool. A prompt diagnosis could avoid salpingectomy and preserve fertility. Laparoscopy, as the first approach, should be preferred. We report a case of isolated tubal torsion occurring in a premenarcheal girl successfully managed by laparoscopy.

Objective To provide a summary of the actual knowledge about the clinical factors affecting the oocyte recipient (other than those associated with uterine cavity abnormalities) on the outcome of oocyte donation cycles. Design Review of the literature. Setting Information regarding the association between age, body mass index (BMI), endometrial priming, tobacco consumption, hydrosalpinx, and endometriosis/adenomyosis in oocyte recipients and the results of oocyte donation cycles. Result(s) Recipient age and the presence of hydrosalpinx are clearly associated with a poorer outcome in oocyte donation cycles. Successful in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer after limited surgical treatment for tubal adenocarcinoma.

A 29-year-old woman with tubal adenocarcinoma stage IA was treated only with bilateral salpingectomy, pelvic lymphadenectomy, and omentectomy. Two years later the patient successfully underwent in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer, and at 39 weeks gave birth to a healthy son by cesarean section. The result of oncologic follow-up 3 years after surgery is negative.

Background and Objectives: The aim of the study was to investigate a potential association between previous childhood appendectomy, tube pathology, and female infertility. Methods: We reviewed patients seeking care at the fertility clinic of our university medical center between 2006 and 2016. The history of previous appendectomy was extracted from hospital documentation and by telephone follow-up. Tubal patency was assessed by diagnostic laparoscopy and chromopertubation. Results: In our study cohort (N = 237), 24.9% (n = 59) had a history of previous appendectomy.
